M.A. Doerfler Actress

  A couple of weeks ago, I did a commercial. In between shots, the other actor in the commercial was pitching himself as a spokesperson to the owner of the company. A few days ago, the owner called ME to be his spokesperson for an interview with a local access tv station.  It is SO important how you act on set. It could provide you with more opportunities for jobs later.

  Been doing a lot of submitting and auditioning in the last couple of days (and some domestic duties), but I did get a callback from one of them, which is just about to start! Meanwhile, the company that I did a commercial for a couple of weeks ago called me to be their spokesperson for a tv interview in March.   Today was a long and rewarding one. I had 2 callbacks and 1 booking. On top of that, I recorded and submitted 3 prescreens (1 video and 2 voiceovers) then hosted the improv comedy show. "Scenes From A Hat" tonight. You can watch it here:   I'm usually a player, but I sit in as host every once in a while to improve my hosting skills. We go live every Thursday and Sunday night at 7 pm CT on just about any streaming service you can think of! Just relaxing a bit before bed. G'night all!
